What's new in One Big Green: edition March 2025

Over the past month, we’ve focused on making One Big Green - the specialized software for interiorscapers - more stable, reliable, and seamless to use. Our priority has been to eliminate glitches, improve performance, and ensure that everything runs smoothly so you can focus on your work without interruptions.

We noticed that many technicians, excited to finish their last job of the day, often forget to officially close their working day. Since timesheets are only sent to the Back Office after the working day is closed, this led to some confusion. To resolve this, we’ve introduced an automatic end-of-day closure for those who forget. Here’s how it works:

• If a technician forgets to close their working day, the system will automatically close it at midnight.

• These automatic closures are clearly marked in Timesheets (with a red-highlighted closing time of 00:00), making it easy to spot and adjust manually if needed.

💻 Back Office updates

• A massive plant database update: To kick off spring - and all the work that comes with it - we've added 300+ new "annuals" to the system.

• Streamlined Notes Section: The Notes section in Service Visits has been redesigned for a smoother and more intuitive user experience.

• More precise search: In the Service Sites section, the search field now only looks up service site names to ensure more relevant results.

• Improved layout: The Service Sites section has been slightly redesigned so that all key information is visible without extra clicks.

• Exporting completed replacements: The Replacement Report can now be exported as an Excel file for easier data analysis and reporting.

• Filtered export: Now, whenever you export timesheets, mileage and commute records, display lists, or open and completed replacements, the export will reflect the filters you've applied - ensuring you get only the data you need.

📱App Updates

• Connection Awareness: A new status bar now indicates connection status (e.g., offline, disconnected) for better visibility.

• No More Unexpected Restarts: The app no longer auto-restarts when updating - it now refreshes in real-time without disruption.
