We’ve just released a new set of updates in One Big Green, shaped by how you actually work day to day. The goal is simple: help you stay organized, reduce back-and-forth, and make better decisions with less effort.
Here’s a quick look at what’s new and how it can make a real difference in your daily work. 👇
Major updates to budgets and job costing
This is a big one.
After working closely with some of our most active customers, we extended the Budget section to go beyond time tracking and into real cost control.
Now you can do this:
See planned versus actual time translated into money, not just hours and minutes.
Set hourly rates per employee. You can do that for normal time and overtime, including historical rates, so past data stays accurate.
Define what overtime means in your company. You can do that in Job settings if you use different overtime rules.
Automatically calculate labor costs for all logged time based on those rates.
Compare actual labor costs directly with the target % of the service revenue for each account.
Hourly rates are visible only to organization admins.
We also prepared an instructional video that shows how to use this extended cost tracking in practice. 👇
Service site card in the Back office is now a real dashboard
As One Big Green grows, we are able to collect and connect more information around each service site. To make that information actually useful, we redesigned the old service site card into a structured dashboard with themed tabs.
Now you can do this:
Get a clear overview of account specifics, upcoming activities, open extras, completed work, and reports, all in one place.
Add general photos and files to each service site. You can do that by uploading things like key locker photos, floor plans, or access instructions once and keeping them available for everyone.
Save standard delivery instructions per site along with access, parking, and water source instructions.
Add more than one contact person to a service site. You can do that by assigning up to three contacts, so the right people are always reachable.
Import all of this more easily. You can do that by using the updated spreadsheet template and example.
And here is a quick instructional video if you prefer to watch rather than read. 👇
Site information in the mobile app is also upgraded
The Site Info section in the mobile app has also been reworked and is now split into clear tabs.
Now you can:
Find the information you need faster while on site.
Navigate to the service site directly by clicking the address link.
Report the incorrect site address immediately. You can do that by creating a quick issue directly from the site info screen.
Useful improvements to Timesheets
We made several small but important changes to timesheets to support transparency and better analysis.
Now you can do this:
See the history of manual timesheet edits. You can do that by opening the edit history, which makes it much easier to create payroll checks and cost reviews.
Understand where work actually started and ended. You can do that by clicking the geofencing icon to see the exact location of check-in and check-out.
Keep track of field feedback more clearly. You can do that by marking timesheet comments as read once you have reviewed and processed them.
Check all these enhancements in the updated video on working with the Timesheets. 👇
