We know how much goes into running smooth, well-documented service operations - and we’re here to make that easier, smarter, and more intuitive every single month.
This summer, we’re rolling out several powerful updates based directly on your feedback. From more flexible timesheets to robust budgeting tools and a reimagined import/export experience - this is a month full of upgrades that simplify your daily work and boost transparency across the board.

💸 The Budgets Section Has Landed!
We’re thrilled to introduce the brand-new Budgets section - one of our most anticipated features to date.
Now, you can set up manhour and monetary budgets for each service site and service type, and track how you’re performing in real time against your plans.
You can budget for:
Service time
Commute time
Other time (like unplanned or admin activities logged for a site)
Annual replacement budgets (in currency)
📊 Want a bird’s eye view?
Go to the Budgets tab in the Back office. Use filters to narrow by site or service, and sort by deviation from plan to see where things are going off track.

📍 Want to zoom into a specific site?
Open the Service Site page and scroll to the new budget overview section - a clean, visual dashboard showing plan vs. fact, along with projections.

🚀 Google Sheets-Powered Import & Export
We’ve moved our import/export process fully online - now powered by Google Sheets for a faster, cleaner, and more user-friendly experience.
✅ Smart drop-downs help you select only allowed values
✅ Perfect for bulk edits and batch entries
✅ And here’s the best part: the plant types in your dіsplays are now also importable!
Also, keep in mind that our exports and imports are fully aligned. That means you can export your current records, add or correct the missing data directly in Google Sheets, and then import that same sheet back into One Big Green - and all new or updated data will be seamlessly added to your existing records.
It’s the fastest and cleanest way to bring your data up to date - especially when onboarding or managing large field inventories, and this works for both service sites and displays.
We’re also working on additional improvements to make inventory tracking easier and more intuitive. Stay tuned!
🕒 Timesheets Just Got More Flexible
You’ve always been able to correct logged time - but what if someone simply forgot to log a visit altogether?
Now, you can manually add new records to the Timesheets whenever needed. This means your data stays clean, complete, and payroll-ready, even when someone forgets to tap the timer.
👉 To add a record:
Go to Timesheets, click “Add record”, enter the date, time, employee, activity type, and service site (if applicable).
Hit save - and your new entry is instantly in the system.

No more messy workarounds. Just accurate records, exactly when you need them.
⚠️ Action Flags in Open Replacements
The Open Replacements list is now more actionable than ever.
Items requiring urgent attention - like pending approvals - are now clearly marked with an exclamation icon on the right-hand side. This helps you focus on what needs to be resolved now, without combing through the whole list.
You’ll spend less time hunting and more time acting.

We’re redesigning the field inventory layout to make it cleaner, faster to navigate, and easier to update on the go. 🖼️ Importing your Displays from Pictures
Soon, you'll be able to upload photos of displays and convert them directly into display records in our system, saving time and effort during setup or site audits. This feature will help you digitize your inventory with fewer clicks, fewer manual steps, and greater accuracy.
💳 Integrations with the Third-party Payrolling Software
No more double entry or manual exporting of timesheets. With payroll integrations, your approved timesheet data will flow directly into your preferred payroll provider, reducing admin time, minimizing errors, and ensuring your teams receive accurate and timely payments.
🛂 User Rights and Permissions
With customizable user roles and permissions, you’ll be able to control exactly who can access and edit different parts of your OBG system. It’s a powerful way to protect data integrity, delegate smarter, and give each team member just the right level of control.
🚚 Scheduled Deliveries
Need to track plant or supply deliveries by date and location? This upcoming feature will let you schedule, monitor, and report on deliveries across your service sites, bringing better visibility to your logistics and helping field teams prepare for what’s coming.
